Which Swiss geek are you?

Ten questions, one verdict: which Swiss geek is hiding in you? · 10 questions · 30 seconds · no account

It's 21:10 on a weeknight. What are you doing?

An online match with the crew, mic on
Headset on, gone for an hour
One episode. Then another. Then it's 2 a.m.
A video that finally explains black holes to me

A parcel is waiting at the post office. What do you hope for?

A new controller, finally without stick drift
The headset that just came out
A Super Nintendo cartridge found on Ricardo
Three metres of fabric and some EVA foam

Your SBB train is twelve minutes late. Your first reflex?

A mobile run, record to beat before arrival
I read everything about the next phone's chip
A manga chapter, standing, without holding on
I work out how the delay spreads along the line

Someone hands you 300 francs. Where do they go?

Into the game of the year, on release day
Into a wig, contact lenses and thermoplastic
Into a keyboard nobody around me understands
Into the collector's box of the anime I know by heart

Your perfect Saturday in Switzerland?

Polymanga in Montreux, costume ready since March
HeroFest in Bern, and I beat my record in front of everyone
Fantasy Basel, straight to the headset booths
Japan Impact, talks and a pile of artbooks

Someone says 'it was better before'. You reply?

Obviously. Pixels and the old openings, case closed.
Better? Today we play standing up, inside the game.
Better? Look at what a graphics card does now.
Before, after... I finish it in 23 minutes.

The raclette is served. What do you talk about at the table?

The patch that destroyed my favourite class
The end of the season, no spoilers, promise
The ideal cheese temperature, graph included
My stitching that held all weekend

Time machine. Where do you go?

1998, an arcade that smells of smoke
2045, to try our grandchildren's headsets
To the day of my best time, to shave off two seconds
Into Einstein's office, just to listen

Your phone's wallpaper?

Pixel art from a game older than me
A photo of me in costume, the one that came out great
A graph of my times, with the curve going down
A nebula photographed by the James Webb

How do you want to be remembered?

As the one who always has a game to recommend
As the one who got the whole family into a VR headset
As the one who kept everything, and whose gear still works
As the one who sewed the whole crew's costumes
